It has been 22 years since the first episode of the most successful sitcom on TV was aired. Even the hardcore fans may have forgotten some of the details that made "Friends" such an amazing show. You probably heard quite a lot of rumors about the fantastic six, it's time to put some order into the facts and recall some forgotten yet extremely interesting pieces of information.

1. Each of the actors earned $22,000 for all the episodes of the first season. In the last season each actor received 1 million USD per episode.

2. Phoebe's pregnancy with her brother's triplet was written in order to explain the pregnancy of the actress Lisa Kudrow at the time.

3. Bruce Willis also participated in Friends, but not many know that he actually did it for free and donated his salary to charity. The reason for it was a bet Willis had with Matthew Perry (Chandler ) regarding a movie they both started in, which Willis lost.

4. David Schwimmer (Ross) was the first actor to join the cast.

5. Jennifer Aniston (Rachel) was the last to join the cast.

6. Ross's monkey, Marcel, was played by two different monkeys.

7. Ross was 29 years old throughout three seasons. We envy him.

8. The initial plan was that Courteney Cox would play Rachel. She refused because she preferred the stronger feminine model presented by Monica over Rachel, the spoiled child type.

9. All six characters kissed each other at some point, excluding Phoebe and Monica.

14. Joshua Burgin (Tate Donovan) appeared in the show at the same time that Jennifer Aniston and Tate Donovan were dating each other in real life.

15. In the last episode each character recalled that at some time they all lived in Monica's apartment. Not everyone knows that they also lived, at least once, in the apartment of Chandler and Joey.

16. When "Friends" went off the air each Friend got a piece of the pavement in front of Central Perk coffee house as a souvenir.

17. Phoebe and Chandler were originally designed to be supporting characters.

18. Before each episode all actors preformed a hug circle, for good karma.

19.  The relationship between Ross and Rachel wasn't intended to be the main romance in the show, but the strong chemistry between the actors turned it into the most memorable love affair.
