Below we tell you some habits that you must stop doing completely so that you can sleep well and wake up fresh and energized the next day.

1. Watch TV, cell phone or computer:

According to a study presented by the National Sleep Foundation of the United States, this may be a consequence of alterations in the production of melatonin in the brain, due to exposure to artificial light of such devices. I know this will be difficult for many of us.

2. Drink coffee, alcohol or smoking:

According to research by Christopher Drake, a professor at Wayne State University notes that drinking alcohol before going to bed, far from relaxing, decreases the quality of sleep, altering its cycle.

3. Exercise at night:

Because exercise increases body temperature and stimulate the production of endorphins (hormones that help increase joy and eliminate pain) it can produce sleep disturbances if it is practiced at night.

4. Go to sleep on an empty stomach:

It will cause a feeling of hunger at night. This condition will keep the brain alert making it impossible to fall asleep.
