When you maintain a healthy diet, it is important to know what you eat and what you will see when you step on the scale.  Here are a number of simple, low-calorie foods that are rich in nutrition.  You don't even need to think about portion size – you can eat as much as you want, without limitation!

Celery

Celery is composed of 95% water.  It has almost no caloric value, but has 30% of the recommended daily amount of vitamin K.  Make sure to buy fresh celery, because by five days after being harvested it loses most of its essential properties.

Arugula

Two cups of arugula contain no more than 10 calories, so have no fear that it will be bad for your figure.  Not only that, but you don't have to eat it on its own – you can mix it with cheese or add olive oil – it will be tasty!

Egg White

You can eat large amounts of egg white, even if you are on the most stringent diet.  Mix the egg white with tomatoes and make an omelette.  It's healthy and delicious.  But remember – don't fry it in too much oil!

Lettuce

Lettuce is rich in vitamins A and C.  Not only that, it is a primary source of folic acid and iron.  It does not contain many calories, so you don't need to worry about your figure!

Cucumbers

Like celery, cucumbers contain mostly water.  By the way, it is important to remember that freshly picked cucumbers are the healthiest.  Also, cucumber peels contain large amounts of betacorten.  Remember that – and don't peel them!

Cabbage

Cabbage contains lots of vitamin C and K.  It is healthiest when eaten fresh.  It is a low-calorie food, so eat to your heart's content.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes contain lycopene, vitamins B2, C, A, folic acid, fiber, chrome and potassium.  And as for calories – hardly any!

Broccoli
